Last night after we shut down Louisa Branscombs Woodsong Farm Songwriting Retreat Saturday night activities in north Georgia- we sat around the kitchen table, shared a toast to Paul Craft and sang Brother Jukebox, Keep Me from Blowing Away and Midnight Flyer. How wonderfully appropriate an occasion to pay tribute to not only a fantastic songwriter, but a huge supporter of songwriters from the acoustic community in Nashville and beyond. Paul, you are already missed. I owe you so much. Please rest in peace and I hope well be able to enjoy more songs and lighthearted friendship from you in the days (if theyre measured thus) to come. Big hugs from my heart!
