Last night as I got ready for bed and changed into my capri shorts I got a bug bite on the toes on my left foot. It burned and itched like crazy. Put anti- itch spray on it and it still bothered me. Ran hot water over it in the tub. Somehow got a bite on my right elbow. Then I got a bite on my left leg below knee. Put clay mask on both to draw out the itch. Caught about 3 different lady bugs in my bedroom and was thinking that the bites came from one of them. Then I felt another bite on my left knee... then another one... then another. I looked inside the pants leg of the shorts where the bites were coming and saw nothing. Finally I took shorts off and turned them inside out and shook them. At first I saw nothing on carpet. Put different pair of shorts on and sat in bed tending to my multitude of bites all around the knee of left leg. Then I looked closer at the carpet. I found a very small brown bug. It was moving. Captured it in the water bottle I have been holding the lady bugs hostage inside of. Then I used the Shark on the whole sectional carpet! This morning I tore my bedding apart and washed everything I could, including dust ruffle. Saw nothing that indicated any bugs what so ever on anything bed related. So the bug is either a bat bug or I wonder if it is a tick? Needless to say my bedroom is getting super cleaned. Todays lady bug count is 29 and one unhappy stink bug. Most of them came from bathroom across the hall or in the spare bedroom. Oh, and I super washed my hair with tea tree oil because I felt extra creeped out about the bug!
