Last night our daughter Carol Webster posted the below and as retired teachers we have to say amen. We are proud of her and appreciate her feelings. Once a teacher you remain a teacher for life. The night before students come back to school is like Christmas Eve for me! I wont be able to sleep because I cant wait to see all the students. I became a teacher because I love to learn, and I love to share what Ive learned with my students, and I especially love for them to share with me what they learn. May every student that I teach be greatly blessed this year. I am praying for a hedge of protection around them--physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. May I be used as a source of encouragement and affirmation. May I recognize each of them as a unique individual that the Lord has created, and may I love them as dearly as the Lord does.
