Last night was a scary one - little Maggie got her head stuck in a cat toy I got at the shelter. She climbed inside the toy and then poked her head through one of the holes. When I first saw her laying inside the toy my heart almost stopped beating, I was terrified and a bit panicked! I called all my rescue folks and took her over to my friends house, and her husband was able to gently pull Maggie backwards out of the hole quickly and without any strain or stress. Thank god it was painless and quick! She was immediately snuggled, and is doing just fine today. Lesson learned about toys, and Im so grateful she is OK. If anything happened to her I would never forgive myself. The second pic is her this morning.
