Last night was an experience that will be very hard to beat. Picture the scene: Small north German town with a magnificent Dom/Cathedral. Summer of 2014 thousands of residents enter a prize draw to win a car. 1 in 4 of those who entered receive a free ticket to see a little known artist perform in their beloved cathedral. Cut to November and over 500 people show up to watch. Grand piano, 5 second reverb decay, and the most dramatic backdrop Ive ever been asked to perform in. And to share the stage with good friends Sue Lord, Axel Kruse, Joern and Martin from Someday Jacob, Richard from VIAROSA and Olly Wills from The Epstein was an absolute honour and joy. Overwhelmed.
