Last nights popup dinner with chef Gabriele Corcos of The Tuscan Gun was beyond delicious! 7 courses of pure delight. Some of my favs....Lentil soup (I gobbled up every last bite), Pasta Alla Gricia (so delish!), the pork entre was amazing (and by now, Im mad because Im too full to enjoy it all), a yummy palate cleansing salad & fished up with Mascarpone and Amaretti cups which were to die for! (I ate mine and my dates). Needless to say, Gabriele and his team delivered an exceptional evening that wont soon be forgotten. If youre in NY and have the opportunity to get tickets for his next popup dinner, Id highly recommend you dont hesitate. His sold out dinners are worth every bite. The stories he shared that inspired each course made it a truly special evening. If you cant make it, check out his new book Xtra Virgin and enjoy making some of his delights in your own home. It also makes a beautiful coffee table book. Thanks for a wonderful evening and absolutely delicious meal Gabriele!
