Last week I visited the house that Jim and I went into as bride and groom in 1944. It has changed a lot, the people that are in it now have done a lot to it but I could still see our old house as it was when we were there. The present owner was very nice and welcomed us in and I recognised the rooms as I remember them. I had several snaps of the house from when we lived there and I showed them to the present owner. She was very interested seeing them. It was a sad and lovely experience.
