Last week some bonehead had their dog in a truck parked in direct sunlight (GA at 3 p.m). When i went to the Front Desk of the Hotel they said they were searching for the owner. ANother dog had forcefully squeezed out of the passenger window that was cracked a mere 10 inches. These were large sized fur babies. He would not let others near the truck. Protective.There is a reason i travel with a metal crutch. The dog latched on to the crutch and when he realized he was not coming forward he backed off. As the Police Dispatch asked if everything was OK i said No Maam, there is a dog going to die within 20 minutes. So i am getting my hammer and shattering the back window. It is legal in Florida so i assume it is in GA..she replied it is not, i replied than tell the cops who show i will sit down after they get here and they can charge me, she replied, we have upgraded the call from animal control to a Police Unit. Ten minutes later the cops were there. The irresponsible female came out of the hotel (soon to be charged for animal abuse) and the dogs were safe. Guess the imma gonna smash the window seemed a bit more urgent. Thanks to the Officers and the Manager at the Hotel!
