Last weekend we organized this years NSA (Nordic stafford athletics). I had some mixed feelings about it since I couldnt bring my ace of spades Lente this time. She came in heat a week before the tournament and we decided to mate her. Also our girl Lykke was well prepared, but she broke a nail just before the tournament so she couldnt compete either. It was time for our younger ones to step up to the challenge so we decided to bring Bobo, Lotte, Ronja and Selma. They all did a great effort during the tournament smashing their personal bests one after another. Bobo have had a fantastic year and came on top of his class and also on top overall. Lotte also came on top of her class and became second overall. Young Ronja and Selma also did great and finished at 13 and 16 overall of the 29 dogs competing. We are proud of them all! We had a fantastic weekend with our friends from here, Denmark, Holland and Oslo, and in the end that is what matters the most. To have fun with friends and our common passion, the dogs! Im already thinking on the time ahead for us at HRS in the sport and breeding. The dogs proved that we are on the right path of what we believe in and what we desire. So only time will tell if it will be the time of big red mashine Bobo who had a fantastic year, or maybe Lotte will take it one step further or maybe one of the others will rise up to the challenge. I know one thing for sure, there is a girl here who will hopefully have some stunning babys soon, will be more than ready to take on any challenges to reclaim her throne as the ace of spades of HRS on the sporting field!
