Last year, I burned out and exhausted myself. I would stay up ALL NIGHT on Thursdays writing Scandal recaps. I would stay up til 4am writing RHOA recaps on Sunday nights. And I was still struggling to make ends meet as I entertained thousands. This year, I shifted my priority to myself, getting more sleep and eating better. I dont charge folks to read my blog. Your pageviews count and matter. But unlike some of your other favorite blogs, Im a team of 1. And I also run a national nonprofit org, a tech blog and Im a part of many orgs that I dont even talk about here. I am trying to keep my head above water while doing ALL of that. I do not post every bad comment I get so dont come to me with the so people cant criticize you? crap. In fact, when is the last time I did that? So if you think I overreacted to that commenter, its because I am pissed that someone has the nerve to make a demand of me and they think their 4 hits to my site is what is putting SO MUCH money in my pocket. >__>
