Last year president Uhuru met with the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Kuwait and promised tofavourably consider their decision to open an embassy in Kenya,This was a knee jerk reaction after US which is Israelis close allie had refused to support deferral of Kenyas ICC cases. Kenya has enjoyed close diplomatic ties with Israel since independence including bilateral trade agreements_when Westgate mall was attacked,it was among the very first to offer assistance..etc etc waiting to hear Kenya take sides with the Palestinians on the on-going war over Gaza strip to annoy the US government! not forgetting we also have our own war with Alshabab which is closely tied with Alkaeda&Jihadism both strong in Palestine. we were told ICC was/is a personal problem before the last general election but it is now damaging Kenyas foreign policy. Choices have consequences!!
