Lately there seems to be so much bad news, stories of disaster and heartache. Our family would like to let you know about some good news for a change. For those of you that know our daughter Samantha, you know that she is passionate about acting, singing, dancing, musicals and basically anything that gets her on a stage! For the past year and a half, Sam has given up all outside activities to pursue and follow her dreams. As her parents, we are 110% behind her. Sam has been given an incredible opportunity to attend one of the most influential and respectable conventions in NYC this July. The IMTA convention is a 5 day competition that involves all areas of acting, modeling, singing, dancing and TV performance. This convention is not open to the public; and only a select few make it through the rigorous interview and audition process. Samantha impressed the agents that she auditioned for and was asked to attend this convention. Many people who have attended this convention, have gone on to attain success in these fields including, Jessica Biel, Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel and many of the Disney Channel stars. There will be over 200 major agencies from the US, Europe and Japan that will be judging this competition for new talent. At the end of the week, those who stand out and impress these agents, will get an opportunity to sign with many of these agencies. This opportunity could be the start of something big for Sam, and it is an opportunity we would love to be able to give her. There are substantial costs involved in order to be able to provide this for her. Unfortunately, we are not in the financial position to be able to afford the entire amount. We humbly ask you, our family and friends, to help support Samanthas ambitions and dreams by donating any amount you can. All donations will be kept confidential and are tax deductible. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I am thankful that we are not in need because of a disaster or illness and hope we do not offend anyone by asking for help. I will be creating a facebook page for this, as well as posting videos of Sam doing her thing for those of you who dont know her well, or have never seen her perform.
