Latest update on Bee---news today confirms that things are looking wonderful concerning the bone marrow transplant that will be done in the near future--finally after 8 months--a meeting with the dr. who will be doing the procedure,could be scheduled for next week! Last week,he had to undergo mammograms on both breasts, because of concerns--thank God they were negative--a medical term--gynecomastia-was used to describe what was going on there--an estrogen problem caused from levels being elevated. Surgery could be used if needed-- his protein level has reached a much anticipated goal--1000---needed for and what the chemo treatments were working toward achieving,in order to hear the great news -he received today! So hopefully the next time I give you all an update--it will be --a go on the transplant and then pray that with the capable hands of the drs.--the grace of God and with all the prayers --the prayer chains -all your concerns--I will be able to share with all of you--it was a huge success. The transplant will take place in Pittsburgh--he will be hospitalized for approximately a month. Remember to tell your loved ones--you love them--thanks everybody! Blessings Mary.
