Lawrence of Arabia: Not much going on last night so a watch again, at least my 10th viewing, Lawrence of Arabia. Yes it is a 4 hour movie and might appear slow movie to those who like Transformers or RomCom but it is a beautiful piece of film making. The locations and sets are all real, the actors of amazing ( Peter OToole, Omar Sharif, Alex Guinness, Anthony Quinn ). No green screen, no mechanical animals, no special effects, just a great story unfolded the only way it could have been. Just the entire long scene crossing the desert, showing how vast it is and how insignificant the men crossing it are. It is one of my top ten films and should be watched by anyone who loves movies and can sit and take more in than a predictable plot or a bunch of useless action.
