Laying in bed next to a bloody, bruised, and beaten boyfriend. He was jumped and robbed last night by 3 men in Main Plaza as he was walking home from work. One of the men walked up to him and asked for a cig and the other 2 hit him in the back of the head, drug him on the ground by his backpack, kicked him in the ribs. Hes going to be ok, but this couldve been much, much worse. Im thankful he wasnt shot, stabbed or raped. It also bears mentioning that a girl I have mutual friends with has also gone missing from downtown. Please, please be careful. I know so many of you that are out walking or riding your bikes late at night. Dont go alone. Take a cab, take a friend, take a weapon. Call someone and let them know you are out. And be very cautious of strangers.
