Learning from the past experiences of Ethiopian politics We - TopicsExpress

Learning from the past experiences of Ethiopian politics We can understand that the TPLF regime has already dug its own grave. This regime has already rotten from inside, and it only survives because of the weakness of different political forces in the country and financial and diplomatic support it receive from powerful countries. The regime has the risk to fall at anytime, in near future. What will happen if the TPLF regime collapse for whatever reason? Are the Oromo nationalists and political organizations ready to use this political opportunity? Is there a probability to reexperience the (1974, 1991) mistakes? Oromo nationalists, liberation fronts, political organizations, community organizations and associations should start a serious political dialogue (in diaspora and home) to overcome their political ingenuousness and reconcile once and forever to build a political consensus that will enable us to capture sate power in Oromia by any means necessary and to build multinational democracy with other ethnic groups that accept the principles of self-determination and democracy.
