Lecturer, Architecture Griffith University - Gold Coast QLD The Architecture program consists of a 3 year Bachelor of Environmental Design (Architecture) followed by a two year Master of Architecture. Architecture at Griffith focuses on sustainable design, including design for the tropical/sub-tropical climate, and design that embodies sustainability principles. Architecture is an academic discipline within the Griffith School of Environment, one of four Schools in the Science, Environment, Engineering and Technology (SEET) Group. The Architecture program integrates with the existing environmental focus, design expertise through the Queensland College of Art, and with elements from the Gold Coast-based Civil Engineering program. The successful candidate may be eligible to join the Sir Samuel Griffith Lectureship Program €“ a program designed for Griffiths early career academic staff. The role: The role focuses on technology, construction and design for sustainable architecture. Candidates must be at the vanguard in terms of explaining and implementing low carbon building design. The person: The successful person appointed to this role will work collaboratively with the Head of Discipline and colleagues in developing, managing and delivering the curriculum for undergraduate and post-graduate program. They will be a team player with strong research records and demonstrated achievements in design and integrated teaching and be experience in leading design studios Salary range: Lecturer, Level B: $80,964 - $96,148 per annum. Salary package including 17% superannuation contribution: $94,729 - $112,494 per annum.
