Lee Gordons holiday message is lovely -- as are they all: Best is the gift of humanity to one another. Why do I say Merry Christmas rather than the more PC Happy Holidays? I was thinking about why I dont like it that much when we say Happy Holidays not to offend people who dont celebrate Christmas -- but of course it is not great to ONLY say Merry Christmas in case that leaves people out -- but then I realized -- the whole premise of all that etiquette is based on the idea that we are separate tribes with separate rituals that divide us. But what if Merry Christmas was EVERYONES Christmas, whether they actively celebrated it or not? And same with Hanuka, same with Eid, same with Diwali…what if we could all congratulate each other for whatever holiday because it was a shared joy that this particular party was happening somewhere in the collective human field and we all got to feel happy about and if we wanted, included in…everyones party? ON that note…Merry Christmas again and peace on earth AGAIN….how trippy universal consciousness is once you go with it. Everything looks completely different, like a positive hallucination on some kind of clarifying rather than distorting love acid :). I have a fantasy of a global movement in which everyone includes everyone in their particular party….
