Lee Justo this is just to show how to experimenter with varying levels of tension in the hand. I dont claim to have great heavy-hands, but I have vague grasp some of the principle involved. When beginning heavy hands training, creating a heavy feeling in the hand (or whatever striking appendage), making adhesive contact (sticking to the target rather than immediate retraction), and the relaxation of all muscles not powering the strike (ie all antagonistic muscle action) are amongst the key points. As a beginning exercise, it is often useful to practice a downward slap first with firm tension in the hand, next with only very mild tension, and finally with the hand completely loose and relaxed. The following video only shows the last two (very mild tension and no tension). Keep in mind this is just an -exercise- to help one feel the difference in the quality of impact.
