Legislator Appeals to Government for the completion of Nixon Hospital Rehabilitation By OUR PARLIAMENTARY PRESS- ADEBAYO N JOHNSON(KOBLOSOKO) Member of parliament pleaded with government , Nixon memorial hospital segbwema is one of the oldest health centers in the history of health facility provider in sierra Leone ,the hospital is a Methodist mission owned and most popular in the eastern region in terms of health services provider and health education institute . In October 2010, his Excellency the president Ernest bai koroma in his wisdom extended his health improvement for all programme to the people of constituency 007 and kailahun district by approving the rehabilitation of Nixon hospital in the tune of billions of Leones According to the member of parliament, the rehabilitation works have been stand still since last year with an entire work of 45% done what withhold the complesion is the community concern. The member of parliament noted that the process of the rehabilitation of the hospital remained to be finished are maintainance of the hospital words ,private words ,under five, laboratory fencing ,electricity supply by the proposed generator yet to be supply as was promised.
