Lengthy visit with the doctor. HUGE fear-factor for Kirsten! She coped really, REALLY well. Here’s how it played out… Me: “We’re going to see the nurse at 9:30. She needs to check your heart.” (Truth – a *doctor* and a H&P. But that’s too scary!) K: “What time all done?!” Me: “All done at 10:00.” ~ repeating about 10:00 in the house-car-waiting room-office ~ ;) Me (9:55 and NOT done): “Can we be all done at 10:10?” K: “Yes. All done 10:10.” Me (10:05): “Can we be all done at 10:15?” K: “Yes. All done 10:15.” Me (10:13): “Can we be all done at 10:25?” K: “Yes. All done at 10:25. And then that’s *IT!* Deal. ;) Look at the bargaining and setting limits. Wow!!
