Leo Hurtubise- Canadian Aboriginal: If the PQ want to preserve the crucifix in the national assembly because it is a cultural heritage of Quebec I have news for the PQ. Quebec is an Algonquin name given to the area where Qc city now stands. It means where the river narrows. That name and area predates colonisation. So, the cultural heritage of Quebec is not a crucifix but rather a peace pipe, wirh deep social, fraternal, and humble meanings. We have all been born equal and the earth is only lent to us. We must always treat our beothers and sisters in a loving and caring manner. The PQ gives a great example of ignorance and ill intent. We will be idle no more. Long live Kebec. The Kebec that is lent to the ethnic diversity of the earth. ( and they, the hardline PQ dare to call other ethnics immigrants??? wtf. They should look in the mirror first).
