Lesson of the Day: Imagination is key during fun time. Im not that much into math. Basic stuff that can be done with a calculator, sure. Anything above that and I turn to mush, or I turn to mush if I dont have a calculator. After a fun filled day at work, my friend hanging out with me leading my book club, I went to Stevie Bs in Mechanicsville. Then it came down to whether to go home or hang out some more. After thinking it through, I didnt want the night to end, I opted to go visit my other friend in Mechanicsville for a few games of Magic. An old card game thats been out since the mid 90s. It involved numbers, so I didnt feel like playing it. Tonight that changed. We played two headed dragon style, a game of four with teams of two on each side. My deck was something called a Sliver Deck. To all those that play Magic, these are high hitting powerful cards of destruction. To those that dont play Magic, just Google images of the Sliver Deck. Just looking at these monsters will make you believe that they can cause some serious damage. Of course the nerd in me was rising, and I started to picture what they would be like in real life. Total chaos man, total chaos. Not only did keep up with the math, mostly, I had fun with my other partner owning the other team in both games. Get creative with your fun, youll never know when creativity is needed.
