Let It Be Known: Folks I post and repost a lot of things on here regarding life and regarding the current state of affairs in this world. It is absolutely imperative that we become informed and educated regarding whats happening around us. The latest beheading of James Foley by the ISIS group should serve as a wake up call to all of us. The America I grew up in regarding this sort of thing as an act of terror, not some oh well moment. Im not a big fan of the current POTUS or his administration. An innocent journalist died and I cant help but think of the heart break his parents are feeling. And yet there is another journalist as well in the video and a threat was made. This country used to operate on a Peace Through Strength mandate that helped keep our borders and interests safe and its people. Now, were the laughing stock of the world and is anything being done? Im not in the meetings in DC with the Security Council and Im regrettably not a member of the military or a CIA operative although I wish I could be and help take it to an apparent evil on the front lines with extreme prejudice. I will resolve to watch and pray as my Lord and Savior command but am fully resolved to also protect my family and including the little one thats not even born yet. Its my God-given right and no matter what Obama (The Putter In Chief) or Harry Reid or Eric Holder say, I will gladly exercise my 2nd Amendment rights. Case closed. The Putter In Chief gave a few comments today after breaking away from his all important tax payer paid vacation and went back to the golf course at Marthas Vineyard regarding James Foleys death and I cant helped to be sickened to my stomach that he went back to his vacation. An American was killed, gruesomely, and its more important to play golf. What a piece of work. I know that we must pray for our leaders and that we must follow the laws of the land, but its awfully hard to respect one who took an oath of office and does nothing about it except make excuses, blame everyone else and look the other way. All part of an agenda to dismantle America and he was voted in twice. Leadership must be held in high regard and leadership requires sacrifice. I would never allow any of this to happen as best as I could if I were POTUS. I wouldnt sleep, take a vacation or even dream about playing golf if one of my fellow citizens were killed. Even though the current POTUS claims that they tried a search and rescue for James this past summer I have a hard time believing that. Its hard to believe a liar that lies so much he cant even keep his facts straight. And I have a direct message to my friends who voted for him in a second time: Im sorry. This is not hope and change. This is your president not mine, and if you want to go ahead and turn a blind eye and think that hes done you a favor well think again. I feel sorry for your choice. It was a big mistake to vote him in. And shame on you. This administration is a failure to the nth degree, and he isnt due any respect. None whatsoever. I cant respect a person or persons who just lets things take a back seat when a game of golf takes precedent more than lives or the well being of a nation needing true, honorable leadership.
