Let me begin this post by saying I fully intend on thanking everyone more properly than this simple post. I honestly have been overwhelmed the last few days just thinking about our wedding. Let me start by thanking my beautiful wife (nice ring to it), Rachell Laidlaw, it was her vision and extreme hard work that made this beautiful, picturesque wedding possible. I am clearly the luckiest man on the planet! I would like to thank my father, Keith Laidlaw, for without his extreme kindness and generosity on so many different levels this day would never been as amazing as it was or even possible (Pretty damn nice River camp no?). I also would like to thank Rachell’s parents, Richard and Shirley Fleeger, for they too were beyond supportive and generous through this entire endeavour. I would like to thank my best man, Jeff Richards, and Rachell’s maid of honor, Gera White too. As anyone who has ever been married can attest the craziness leading up to the actual wedding is straight chaos and without both of you grounding Rachell and myself I don’t know if either of us would be sane today! HA! Seriously, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I believe that anything you enjoy in this world is only as good as the people you are able to share it with. I was so honored to have my two brothers, Dan, Patrick, Dans wife Renee and my new sister and brother-in-law Sammy & Jeannette Collins, not only in attendance, but thank you too for all the help and encouragement you all provided too. Everyone needs family, and we are beyond lucky to be blessed with you all as ours!! There are so many people who deserve thanks for all the help in the weeks prepping the decorations, the house, the property, and the tents. Like I said I will thank you personally rather than try and list you with a ton of other people’s names. From the very beginning our wedding was shared among many people from our families to our closest friends, and what other place than Facebook would be more appropriate to post this thank you. I of course am speaking with the many people who helped start our wedding journey by supporting us in the contest this spring from the absolutely amazing people at All Occasions Party Rental. The contest literally made Rachell’s and my dream wedding come true (more her than me but you get the point, HA). I honestly can’t thank everyone who helped enough from voting daily to encouraging your own friends and family to vote (some who didn’t even know who we were), and I am not joking when I say the people of All Occasion are first class. From the moment we won till the moment they just pulled the last tent stake. World class the entire way. (And for those who are wondering, yes, I am still going to throw the thank you party that I promised, I will provide the details shortly.) Like I said, I have been a damn rollercoaster of emotion the last few days and it is indescribable on how proud I am of the friends and family we have. You all are simply the best thing anybody in this world could ask for. So, again Rachell and I thank you for absolutely everything. I know if our life has people the likes of all of you that there is nothing in this world that can’t be accomplished. God bless, and hopefully I will see you all very soon!!
