Let me see if I get this correctly. They shut down the govt because they have no idea how to budget money. Part of that is to close off PUBLIC lands and memorials. When true people of leadership and bravery take a stand and visit the memorial that was built in their honor, the administration decides to deploy guards to keep them out. So where is the money coming from that pays for the guards? Why can not that same money be used to keep the PUBLIC memorial open instead of closing it from the public and blaming someone else for it? This is not a democracy. It is not living in a free state. This is how dictatorships are ran and how citizens are turned into subjects.
