Let me vent here for a few moments. YES! I know, you all here me say that I hate living on Facebook because of all the drama. Well, you know what? Maybe I am wrong! Maybe when you are being screwed over by someone or something, may it be a person or a company, you feel the need to let others know, so that they do not go through the same crap. Very seldom do I bring my drama here, but I need to vent and as many of my friends and family members have told me, It is my Facebook page and if you dont like what I post, DONT READ IT! I hope you do though. 12 months ago, we were convinced by a very nice acting young man, in an aisle in Walmart, to switch out our Suddenlink package of Phone, TV & Internet to DirectTV/AT&T. He told us that not only could he promise us a better deal up front, but that our payment would go down both at the beginning of the 2nd year and the 3rd year, as long as we stayed with them for 36 months. Deb and I discussed it a few feet away and decided, why not! We went for it, she talked with both DirecTV and AT&T on the phone and it has been good for 12 months. Today we open up our bill and it jumped from $125 to $183.39! Needless to say, Debi made ME get on the phone immediately and get it FIXED! lol AT&T was great! gave us credit for the increase, not their fault, it was DirecTV that caused it, according to them, which was later confirmed by the DirecTV rep who said that NOTHING could be done, including downgrading the service, because if we downgraded to lower options, we would then lose credits which would actually make our bill higher than what they just jumped it to. She said that she was sorry, but there was nothing that she could do about the person lying to us since we signed the contract. I asked to speak with her supervisor, she said that she was the supervisor, I asked to speak with HER supervisor and she asked me to hold on while she transferred me and then I got disconnected. This is my get even. Please do not fall for sales lies.
