Let them hear your ROAR! Elephants, tigers and rhinos are being illegally killed so their parts can be used for jewellery, alleged medicines, carvings, cosmetics and other luxury goods. On 12 and 13 February this year, governments from around the world will gather in London to determine how to end illegal wildlife trade. “Help protect our threatened species - call on world governments to #endwildlifecrime before its too late. thndr.it/1hG3zna” Did you know: * Rhino poaching increased by over 7,500% between 2007-13, with an average of three killed a day. *There are more captive tigers in the US than there are left in the wild * Since 2004, Central Africa has lost two-thirds of its elephant population. * At least 1,000 park rangers have been killed in 35 different countries over the last decade alone as they work to protect wildlife. You can help make a difference. Add your roar and send a message to the leaders gathering at the London Conference that you stand shoulder to shoulder in the fight against wildlife trafficking. The London conference is organized by the UK Government and is supported by The Royal Foundation, WWF and #ZSL. It will help to focus high-level political attention on efforts across the globe to stem the shocking rises in the illegal wildlife trade over the last decade, which has devastated some of our iconic species.
