Lets pause. Release your hold on what youre doing, and notice your surroundings: shapes, colors, textures, scents, and sounds--even the feel of the air. Gradually shift your attention to thought, emotion, and body sensation, including the feel of clothing against skin. Settle your attention on the natural rising of the in-breath and the out-breath. When ready, resume your activity, refreshed, alert, aware.
