Lets talk the most under-rated weapon used in Star Trek, - TopicsExpress

Lets talk the most under-rated weapon used in Star Trek, especially the original series. Im talking Vulcan Neck Pinch. I love it. Spocks use of this technique gets my heart racing and makes me laugh uncontrollably at times. He employed it dozens of times at the perfect time. Who can forget him approaching an alien guard and first commenting to the gentleman that he had a multi-legged creature crawling on his shoulder. When he looks down, it Spocks hand in Vulcan Neck Pinch form making him go lights out. Classic. How about Star Trek 5? He neck pinches a horse and puts him to sleep. How about his sneaky neck pinch on McCoy at the end of Wrath of Khan? Remember!! Ive seen him use it in combat while holding a shield and a sword. Again, lights out. How about McCoys feeble attempt to use it on a Federation security guard? Spock was truly the master at this special technique. I was particularly disappointed when I saw Tuvok use it. He just doesnt have the special touch that Spock had that made it so effective for him. I suppose he wasnt in class the day they were teaching it or just didnt practice it enough at the Vulcan Academy. Anyway, if you have any experience with this or would like to report your favorite use of this technique, then feel free to respond. I would love to hear from anyone on this topic. No, everyone. KaPlaa!!
