Letter: As Zambia Goes to The Polls As Zambia heads to the polls to elect a new president, HH loses his mind and insults Zambians. In a bid to resuscitate his dysfunctional campaign with barely a day remaining before the presidential elections, HH has hit the lowest ebb by blaming and insulting all Zambians for his numerous failed presidential bids. In a special radio programme reported today by Zambia Reports, HH has told Zambians that they should be grateful to him for being wealthy and for what he has done for the country. HH must wake up from slumber and realize that he did not make Zambia but Zambia made him who he boasts to be today. There are many Zambians who have done greater things for the country than what HH has contributed but have never paraded themselves before cameras to demand for honor. Such a call from HH is despicable, reprehensible and utter frontier gibberish. HH’s boastful and disrespectful behavior has finally alienated him from the electorates including a few loyal supporters who had clung to him even when he conceded that he was losing today’s presidential election to the PF candidate Edgar Chagwa Lungu, again in a paid radio programme at QFM in Lusaka. HH was handsomely paid for the work he is claiming accolade as though he offered free services. He should actually apologize to all Zambians for swindling the country and awarding himself lucrative deals during the privatization process. What is absurd and disheartening is that this chap is claiming to be a hero and wants to be worshipped. One wonders whether there’s more to it than the allegation that he is a satanic freemason. Our founding fathers Dr David Kaunda, Mainza Chona, Harry Mwanga Nkumbula, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe and others did greater things for our motherland but lived as servants of the people. Zambians we cannot elect such a person as President. Let us maintain our cultural values of love, respect and peace.
