Letter to Nigeria and Our Northern Nigeria. When God created the nation of Nigeria, it was not based on religion or tribal lineage. In the whole world, there is no tribal groups like Nigeria, yet we have been coexisting together in peace irrespective of tribe or religion.The larger part of Nigeria is made of the Northern Nigeria. Our great leader,late Sir Ahmadu Bello worked tiredlessly for unity and progress not only of his region but for his beloved Nigeria.Today the story is different. My Northern Nigeria, my Arewa is drifting into something else. Politics of religion and tribal sentiments is eating deep into my Arewa. Nobody cares about my Arewa and her future. The youths have no jobs. The almaliris are all over the place suffering in different degrees. They are only used when it matters most to some wicked politicians but cannot use thier own children. Their future is uncertain. Sardauna would never have allowed this to happen. Politicians are not seeking elective office for the sake of Nigeria or citizens but for thier pockets and their families.The youths and our almajiris need a sense of belonging. The future indeed belongs to them and not to both retired and tired politicians whose interest is after thier business empires. The spirit of Sardauna will not forgive those wicked politicians. Nigeria and nigerians comes first.Thats the legacy Sir Ahmadu Bello left behind after his brutal murder. Insecurity everywhere. It is becoming God for all of us but everybody to himself. Falsehood and corruption everywhere. No fear of God. Oh Nigeria and my very Arewa, how long will this continue. Each time i look around and see the suffering of the masses, i ponder, when will the end comes. The dead are already dead. The living is divided into have and the have nots. Ok the summary is that there God in heaven who watches over every work done under the sun whether good or bad and everyone will give account of his stewardship. God will judge both the rich and the poor.
