Let’s Be Ganesha - Day 5 When Ganesha and Kartikeya raced for a world tour, Kartik rushed through the entire creation, while Ganesha just circumambulated Shiva & Parvati, who meant the world to him. It is not like Ganesha could not have run through the world. Thats not an impossible feat for the elephant-headed God. But he chose to go around the Divine and thus won the race. People whose lives are circling around the world, may run around with great efficiency, but will still be losers at the end of the day - living lives riddled with insecurity and unfulfilment. People whose lives are centred in the Divine, always invoke greater powers from within, live fulfilled lives and also turn out more victorious in the race within. That is why we see even great Kings and Queens, who go around the whole world, bow down in reverence and surrender to a saint whose life is centred on the Divine (Shiva). Lets centre our lives in the Divine. Let’s be Ganesha.
