Let’s hope that the new owner will restore the Bankers Building to its former splendor. A remediation program akin to the one performed at the Old Colony Building would be nice. A venture led by the Chicago developer has a deal to acquire the Clark-Adams Building, a 456,441-square-foot tower built in 1927, [John] Murphy confirmed. Mr. Murphy, who said the deal is expected to close in September, declined to disclose a price, which is believed to be more than the $48 million the seller, Musa Tadros, paid for it in 2006.
