Let’s pray that May the almighty God give us the favor of seeking Him diligently in prayers in our life- time may He provide the Joy of salvation in our lives. When Jesus said that, if you truly love me then keep my commandments, He meant what He said so my dear I don’t want to ask you whether you love Christ or not because I know your obvious answer, let me ask, do you keep His commandments if your answer is yes, then your kind of love to Him is perfect! But if your answer is no, then ask yourself why? Why is it no instead of Yes? Love should be deep rooted in you and me; for it is the center- point of any Christian, the center bolt. The fundamental key to knowing God, The bible in Eph. 3:16-19 states that unless we stay and always united in the body of Christ, we cannot get God’s blessings. We are one family with one father who is Jehovah God, the Alfa and Omega. Nobody can perfect his/her ways in this world. Love and accept others the way they are, Ignore all the negative deeds your neighbor does and tolerate them the way God do with us. Strengthening unity of believers is among the roles of the Holy Spirit but unless we live loving others, no unity can be made among us. For we are one body headed by Christ who is the head. Be assured that having begun a life with Christ, you have a reserve of power and love to call on each day for help to meet every challenge or trail. You can ask God to give you power and love you need. God loved us so much that He sent His only son to die on the cross because of our sins. God together with His beloved son poured the Holy Spirit in our lives which brings love in us. Thus enabling us to live by His mighty power with all His loving kindness. So, what else do we have to do other than serving Him? Think of someone who really needs this kind of love and go for Him or Her. Be doer, do practical things and you shall see God in person. Just give all you can. Let nothing become a barrier on your way to demonstrate the kind of love God has put in you. Be it your own family or the daily hard/difficult circumstance. Jesus commands us to love and he is going to give us the strength of doing so love much more than. Simply being a sympathizer. It is a habit that shows up through action. Now how do we have to go about it? Through being helpful to others, full time ministry, sympathize with the orphans and the needy. Though it seems impossible to do all this but with God, all things are possible. In 1st John 3:1, the bible says, what manner of love the father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God?. Therefore , the world knoweth us not, because it didn’t recognized Him. As you can see, nowdays, the world is struggling to get love from anywhere it can. Some of us Christians feels that we are not loved. I want to assure you that Gods benevolent live is much great than what we expect from people; the reason is that we are ignorant of Agape love; which is characterized by protection, caring and giving. It springs from our knowledge of Jesus as our lord and savior. The born-again people who have God’s light shining in their lives have no option other than loving others the way God loved them. Maintaining love is primarily in churches and to the committed servants of God. You can’t accomplish the ultimate use of intellectual gifts without love. Love is kindness to be kind means, to be gentle, helpful and forbearing, having a strong stand, No thought of turning back. Love doesn’t envy other people, like desiring to possess others properties and also backbiting others. Love rejoices when your neighbor or enemy prospers what was once a life dedication to please self will become a life dedication to please God and spreading the light of His love by loving others. In the gospel of John, Christians are reminded that God’s love to Him is so wonderful and magnificent. He even permitted them become His own children through Jesus suffering and persecution. So believers should show the same kind of love taught to them by Jesus, for His love to mankind was great than any boundary that’s way it had to cost His own life. To some believers, despite the fact that Jesus love is constantly flowing into our lives, it becomes impossible to allow the same gift of love to flow into other people’s love. Now how will the world know that Christ is the source of love and goodness if His people become selfish? Let us all be generous, share with others that little love and God will add to you more for Christ’s love is not seasonal, neither is it favoring.
