Lewis F. Williams Lewis F. Williams of Mansfield Township passed away into Gods loving and eternal care Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly. He was 90. Born in Harlan, Ky., he lived in Oakhill, W.V. before moving to Levittown. He then lived in Burlington for 58 years before moving to Columbus four years ago. Mr. Williams retired in 1984 as a forklift operator and splitter machinist for the 3M Company in Bristol where he worked for over 30 years. In his early years he also worked as a coal miner. A true outdoorsman, he loved nature and gardening as well as fixing things and building things. He enjoyed always keeping busy doing something. A longtime member of the Beverly Road Fire Co., he also was a member of the Roma Club and TK Club and a former member of the Burlington Moose Lodge. Husband for 65 years to the late Margie Burley Williams and father of the late Roger Williams, he is survived by his children, Larry Williams (Linda) of Jacksonville, Fla., Gary Williams (Lois) of Columbus and Donna Levesque (Mike) also of Columbus; a sister, Betty Senea of North Carolina; a brother, Steve Williams of Arkansas; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, July 16, at at the Dennison-McGee Funeral Home, 869 Beverly Rd., Burlington. Relatives and friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday and from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover. Due to a cemetery restriction on accepting flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Beverly Road Fire Dept. or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS. 66675.
