Life & Adventures of the Misplaced Cajuns..... . Dat sounds like a good book...hehe We finally get into the hotel room at around 4PM , and once I Saw the inside of the room all I could think about is have we gone back in time to the civil war days. The décor to the room looks just like that. The bed, wallpaper, drapes and lamps are all in the same pattern. Shoes off, bra off, face washed, a/c kicked on high. Jump in bed and oh my, this bed is awesome, really it is. I have no idea what kind of mattress it is, but I fell asleep and Lisa had to wake me at 6PM. I jumped out of bed like a kid who missed the bus on the first day of school. Anyone who knows me, knows I do not sleep well without a hand full of Benadryl. As I typed that out my mind is still in disbelief.. Anyways we got up, got beautified, then headed to the theatre for the much awaited play. Had tickets in hand, walked through doors, scanned tickets, lady says sorry ladies these tickets are for the 2PM show. Lisa and I looked at each other and both said oh hell no....Lisa worked her magic like she always does and a previously sold out performance just happened to have only two seats available. Now we have to rewind to 3 days ago when we ordered the tickets online. Lisa &Ken has been in renovation mode. They have been working nonstop in their house. I have been in work/ Dr. Appointment, hospital mode. We changed the day we were coming out here by one day. All the shows we saw for the rest of the week started at 8PM except Wednesday!!!!!! We just happen to show up at 7:15 for a 2PM play...Really????? Yep, thats how we roll. Anyways we were 15 minutes late for a play we had no seats for. Our orchestra mid center side by side seats soon became balcony seats separated. I was sitting in front of two gay guys that kept giggling and between two kids. One frozen Appleton later I was giggling with the gay guys and we talked after the first act. It was all good and the play was wonderful. We had a great pasta dinner, and now we are back in the civil, war room in that awesome bed, shoeless & braless. Life is good........
