Life-Building Nuggets with pastor walu - 8th August 2014 Four Considerations on success breakthroughs. 1. Always thlnk Big, but Avoid Complex thinking. - Never restrict yourself from thinking big! How far do you want to go? How much do you want to achieve? -There must be no limitations when it comes to your thinking- Always think of the best. - However, realise that thinking big does not mean complicated thinking. -Always think big, but keep it simple. It is in the simplicity of big thinking that clarity comes in terms of what to do with your big ideas. 2. Study people. - Always maintain a watchful eye on all the people that surround you, and the people you encounter. - The encounters you experience with each individual you interact with are unique and one off in that they will never happen that way again. - No expereince is the same. - To succeed in life, dont just be a student of life, but be an ardent student of people aswell. - As you keep a watchful eye over your interactions, you will get to a place where you interact with people wisely. 3. Identify people who will compliment you, and fit in the context of your dreams. - Every human being is valuable, but not every human being is useful when it comes to finding people who fit into your particular big picture. - You need to find those people that will compliment you by covering your weak points, and you also need to find those insividuals that will compliment you by further strengthening your strengths. - There is value in finding like minded people to work with, but there is also value in working with non-like minded people to work with. 4. Refuse to be discouraged. - The key to handling discouragement is knowing how to have a handle on negativitiy. - You cant allow yourself to be drawn into dispondency at any given time. - Sometimes discouragement sets in when we are not sure of ourselves. -Unserstand that Successful people have learnt to do things that they may not be totaly sure about. - They have learnt the art of risk taking. They may not be too sure, but they risk it anyway. -Sometimes risks pay off, and sometimes they just dont.
