All three scores are totaled then ranked. Open to everyone ages 12 and older. $25 for Life Time Members, and the General Public EVENT SCORING Results are scored according to your performance relative to everyone else. Total available points are based on the total number of participants in the event. For example, lets say there are 100 people in event. The athlete who swam the farthest in the pool receives 100 points. The second farthest swim receives 99 points and so on. Same for the bike and run. The three scores for each participant are totaled for an overall score. Scores (and distances) will be posted online and emailed following each event. BECOME A TRIATHLETE! It will happen so fast you wont know what hit you. The Life Time Indoor Triathlon is a fun challenge that appeals to everyone — from seasoned triathletes to first-timers — because you set your own pace. And all the action takes place in one convenient, weatherproof location — your local Life Time club. Here’s how this one-hour race against the clock breaks down: •10-minute swim in the lap pool •30-minute bike ride in the Cycle Studio •20-minute run on the treadmill Performance is measured by distance covered in each of the three legs. The more distance you cover, the higher your score. Transition times are fixed at 10 minutes between the swim and bike and 5 minutes between bike and run. This is to ensure safe and courteous movement through the club. You will start in waves of 10 people every 20 minutes. Race with your friends, family or colleagues — time to catch up socially and physically! All participants will receive a Life Time Indoor Tri participant T-shirt, race bib, and swim cap.
