Life is full of disappointments, constant slaps in the face, kicks in the teeth, lost rugby tests, spilled milk and so much more. But! They are challenges to be faced! Met head on. See them as opportunities to grow, become a better person. After my very generous offer to become the conductor of an orchestra, because I know how to wave that little stick thing around......silence...nothing...not one enquiry, not even from the Potchefstroom Symphony Orchestra, nevermind Richard Cock. So! Today, this morning at around 10.00 a.m. 10.07 to be precise, I went and had a haircut at that delightful hairdresser at the Norwood Mall. Three nice lads from Algeria, not, as they are wont to point out, Arabs, but Berbers. So you could say I have a Berber barber. The good news is that the South African Wool Board have agreed to buy the hair removed! Their final offer was $1.47, less their commission, handling fees and delousing. The bad news is that I owe them $0,58. When I got home the dogs barked at me. But such is life. For Peter Terry I have posted the condensed version below.
