Life is simple but difficult to live. A mistake once made can never be retrieved in the hearts of many. Hence I have tried every means to avoid mistakes but all to no avail. That makes me remember the popular saying "no body is above mistake". The mistakes i have made in recent times will long remain in the minds of may; though they might forgive but I tell you they will not forget (not so soon). These mistakes made by me has created a mighty lacuna (bridge) between me, individuals, group of people and more especially those dear and close to me. When such things happen, people completely forget about the good records you exhibit in the past. Zinedine Zidane was a world class player who was loved by many but because of the mistake he made by headbutting an Italian defender at the final match of 2008 FIFA World Cup between France and Italy in Germany completely reduced his dignity. I feel like shading tears when I remember that a person of my calibre, a Christian could commit such act. This has made those close and around me to loose the trust they have on me; i really feel ashamed walking in their faces. They may let go of the mistake but they will never forget in a hurry. Have it in mind that we learn from our mistakes and other people too learn from our own mistakes. With this, I have lost my dignity, personality as well as my position within my jurisdiction and therefore call on every one involve to please find a place in his or her heart to forgive as I also look unto God for forgiveness.
