Life of The President by Reysta We all know that people in the State House ball. This alternative Hip-Hop/rap song has a good concept and a there’s an overwhelming maturity .One of the best beats this year ,The beat and the lyrics are so unique than the sound imitations we hear every day. The song has a strong message to the president and other government officials that may use power to get material things they never had instead of serving the people that voted for them. It’s not a song that can be guaranteed with airplay especially among state owned radio stations. Reysta says he wants the life of the president while he is still young but the concept of the song will get misinterpreted by people who just listen to beats rather lyrics. Reysta sounds like he is wishing to be a president so that he can enjoy power. The tricky concept behind is to expose the president’s abuse of power. A beat that is well equipped with guitars ,kicks ,snares, piano,Trumpet and base .The song has good originality in it especially with a bit of Jazz. Reysta raps “I want make paper than the late FTJ/ this my genesis okay let paper be made/ lyrics on a paper blow is that a paper grenade/ run around the town without a relay/” There is so much substance on this song that is based on the truth. Those looking for groundbreaking subject matter should look elsewhere .The lyricism is well equipped with perfect wordplays, metaphors ,punchlimes and similes. At the end of the song Reysta explains what he was trying to get at. Creativity at it’s the best on a song that nearly sounds like a celebratory song. Its a song that may get you into trouble but Reysta sounds like he is no puppet like most artists that keep their tales down.
