Like Michelle Gauthier said earlier---I too am sad about dogs today. I had to take the little hound doggie who I named Zimmer after the road she was dumped on, to the shelter this morning. Officer Olivia told me that 8 dogs came in overnight --mine might have been the 9th. Multiple dogs in the night drop. The shelter is full. One shepherd mix dog is there because his owner decided not to pay the impound fee from when he was picked up and told the shelter they could keep him. I guess they count that as a donation? Another was there because he killed a cat and stole the neighbors shoes---and no, it was not a pit bull! Not lookin good for that one! The majority of the dogs I did see this morning are pit bulls and pit bull mixes---lactating mamas ---where are their babies?? And a couple of very lonely young puppies---some strays, some surrenders. Why cant people just exercise a little bit of responsibility and accountability???? There is no accountability these days---Im very glad I wasnt raised that way!
