Like Only You Care..... About two years ago, I woke up in the midnight to the irritating cries of mosquitoes. Not only that, I realized they have had a good feast on my blood. You know that feeling right? And the anger that you are not able to kill them. More so, Ive suffered a lot from malaria, so, I hate mosquitoes. It was so painful that I said, God, I must kill these mosquitoes. I got out of my bed and walked to the wall. There I saw two proud mosquitoes. I killed them with unneeded force. Theyve really had a great blood meal. I went back to sleep with the joy that I wasnt bitten in vain. Now, if God could care about my vengeance against mosquitoes, how much more will He care about other vital areas of our lives? Our career, family, job, fulfillment, love life, children etc. The reason why we are sometimes frustrated is because we go about with lots of burdens in our hearts, thinking nobody cares. As if we are the only ones who care. Excuse me, God cares. In fact, He cares about us more than we even care about ourselves. Believing this will help us to rest in His love, and have the assurance that He will work things out for our good. What is it youre going through? Why not turn it over to God, knowing that He cares?
