Like, share and add your name to the 2015 AQHA Protect Them Coalition if you have expressed concern for: the American Quarter Horses future, the decline of the AQHA, or current methods of governance. This can be a start for the membership to again be a driving force in the Association, being heard and not ignored. Below is what was proposed to AQHA https://facebook/ProtectThem2015 A coalition of 20 concerned horse women ten months ago started on a project to rid AQHA sanctioned events of Inhumane Treatment, it has grown to near 300. Regaining the integrity of AQHA is our first priority, we have no desire to continue to see the largest breed registry spiral downward because of apathy. The intent is to better the horses lives and worsen the lives of the abusers. 2015 will be a year of changes for AQHA, a new Executive Vice president and hopefully a new governance that moves forward to better. One that serves all the members by following and enforcing all of the rules with equality, who unequivocally supports their mission statement To insure the American Quarter Horse is treated humanely, with dignity, respect and compassion, at all times.
