Like so many other people, I feel awful from the grand jury decisions involving Mike Brown and Eric Garners deaths. It also opens up an old wound; a close friend of mine (and of many people on here) was senselessly killed by a police officer. That incident made me realize how common the use of excessive force is in our country. There really needs to be a way for police officers to be held accountable. I was hoping that the idea of body cameras might provide a solution, but like many people, I am baffled that the footage with Eric Garner couldnt bring correct justice. I try not to post political things on here often and I hope this doesnt upset anyone...Im trying to process all of this.
