Like the Wind that Blows Wind is air in motion. Its movement has been known to baffle meteorologists who are trained to predict its path. It blows where ever it wills. Besides God the Creator, no one can control it or determine where it comes from and where it is heading. The Scriptures often use the wind to refer to the Holy Spirit. And Jesus Christ likened one who is born of the Spirit to the wind. One who is born of the Spirit is not subjected to the control of men or devils. No one can manipulate a son of God (no gender is meant here). Sons of God are led by the Spirit of God. And therefore their movements are not predictable by human wisdom and they cannot be confined within the walls of human dictates. They obey the Lord, whose thoughts and ways are higher and beyond those of man. Those who try in vain to control them and manipulate them usually in frustration deem them independent and insubordinate rather than acknowledge that sons of God are born to obey God rather than man. But from generation to generation God has preserved and presented the originality and newness of His truths through the unique Spirit-led and Holy Ghost-empowered ministries and operations of His sons, who refuse to conform to the traditions and humanist doctrines of popular established religion. They are like the wind that blows. John 3:8: "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." Romans 8:14: "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God."
