Like the master strokes In an abstract painting masterpiece, Our imperfections outline stylish blemishes; Our weakness portrays a collage of strength; Our confusion a mosaic of highly organized patterns; Our indecision is simply masterly inactivity. Foolishness makes us professional clowns; Impatience makes us experts of haste and speed; In our fits of rage, we dare to find our voice, And while we shudder in fear, we only offer reprieve. Each sour experience a tingle to the taste buds; Every little mistake increases the sage in us. Each wear-and-tear adds to the vintage fabric; Every pimple and every wrinkle rub off on the bling; Every itch is an opportunity to scratch and caress; Every limp adds to the catwalk on the red carpet; Every smelly fart reassures our nostrils and sinuses, And every dying breath is actually a breath of Life. So whenever I stare at you, I see An expressionism abstract of priceless value, Filled with classic artistic strokes and smudges And patterns only a deep mind can find.
