Lil bit of info Id like to share. to encourage myself and others to stop smoking cigarettes: Ok I smoke Newport 100`s. It takes approximately 6 to ,7, to 8 minutes to finish a whole cig. I smoke like 7 a day. (in fact Im smoking one now as I do the status). Me, finishing a WHOLE NP 100 is 7 minutes. Ok........ 7 times seven is 49. meaning that I spent almost an hour out of my day congesting my lungs, destroying my health, n just wasting time for a temporary nerve relief (aint that what they say cigarettes are supposed to do? calm your nerves?) I am trying to stop, eventually the goal will be met. Its a hard things to give up especially by me stop smoking weed cold turkey. A pack cost almost $7. Im trying to make is that time and life is too valuable for me to keep giving my money to the Arabs or whoever sell cigarettes Ill pay gas stations in stores. wasting my time energy and money. when I could be using those 49 minutes to utilize my thoughts, getting my thoughts together. Ima stop 1 day, cold turkey (lol), with the grace God is giving me. I am power and encourage all of a black negros, to stop smoking as hard as it is at this point in time in life. (especially my dad). So, when I hit Bible study up tonight, I will be asking for deliverance from God to let that cigarette habit go. can go to wherever it wants to go to hell if you ask me(lol). Im not sure if this status will encourage someone to stop smoking but I am trying my hardest and I believe that through his mercy that he will take this habit away from me. leaving me with more money, more time on my hands to handle important things, and the peace of mind to wear as a my nerves will be settled just by knowing that God hear my cry at home with my heart to let it go. if you can take time out of your day and you want to stop smoking send a prayer up to the heavens be serious about it go to God with a humble heart and watch how cold turkey you will not even want a cigarette anymore.
