Lilly went to her first rated show at Frying Pan in Northern VA. She is a trooper. She behaved beautifully, and drove her little heart out. No first or seconds, but she placed in every event. A group of Nuns were there showing. Oh, how they know horses and how to doll them up! Unreal and they love it, which shows. I was honored to see and meet them. They are from Pa. They were stalled in same isle. I have so much to still learn. Do not know if I will ever beable to do all that others do to their horses? Ok, I am thankful I can do what I am doing. I was told Lilly has Bling and those dapples:) Good friends who live in Reston came to visit and see show. He was my horn teacher in HS and College. They are wonderful folks and have been in my life since I was 15. It is so nice to have old friends~ and new friends are also nice:) Now several days of rest! But worth it. Lilly is a true show horse, which I never dreamed of owning. I wanted a therapy horse for retirement homes, birthday parties, etc. As a young friend says, with children and animals you take what u get and love them anyway. Yes, Lilly has taught me that.
